    It all began in 2004, when the Hemmelder family, originally from the Netherlands, decided to change everything and settle in the South of France, captivated by the sunshine, picturesque villages and relaxed way of life.

    It is this passion for the South and its lifestyle that the Hemmelder family wanted to share by creating the company “Residence du Soleil”, offering villas with private pools where comfort, charm and an idyllic setting come together to create unforgettable moments.

    2019

    In 2019, their daughter Lisa joined the adventure. With her arrival, the company took a new direction: it officially became “Les Résidences du Soleil”, focusing on seasonal rentals while also expanding into the sale of villas with private pools. A new organisation and structure were implemented to provide even more attentive support to both clients and property owners.

    2024

    In 2024, Lisa took over the management of the company. She introduced a new dynamic with concrete actions aimed at building even closer relationships with both owners and clients, with greater transparency and a stronger focus on every detail.

    In 2026, the company adopted the Sunny Villas brand, with a renewed identity that reflects our energy and international outlook, while remaining true to what matters most: proximity, human warmth and personalised attention.
